TEACHING ACTIVITIES

     ACADEMIC COURSES AND E-LEARNING PLATFORM

 

     The Centre offers three academic courses: one curricular course on “EU and Global Health Law” (EUGHL Course, 72 hours, 8 ECTS) at the School of Law, dedicated to law students but nonetheless open to students from all faculties, PhD candidates and Erasmus incoming students; one shorter and more tailored course on “EU Health Law and Public Health” (UELPH Course) dedicated to the students from the Master’s Degree in Medicine (16 hours, 2 ECTS); one shorter and intensive course on “EU Pharmaceutical Law” (EUPHAL Course)
dedicated to the students from the Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (14 hours, 1,5 ECTS).

EU4GH SUMMER SCHOOL

 

     The Centre holds an annual “Jean Monnet Summer School on EU and Global Health” (EU4GH Summer School) as a joint transnational teaching activity co-organised with the European Association of Health Law, the Global Health Law Consortium, the Jean Monnet Module "One Health: Global and EU Perspectives" and other partners.
      The first edition took place from 3 to 7 June 2024 (more info).

      The second edition is scheduled for 3-6 June 2025.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COURSES

 

        The Centre offers one professional training course each year on “EU Health Law and Global Health” (EULGH Course), targeting professionals and practitioners in need of lifelong learning and public administrators in need of specific skills and competences. The first edition “Practical legal dimensions of European health law” was held in May-June 2024 and was supported and sponsored by the Professional Order of Lawyers of Salerno (more info).
